Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal shared a new post following his recent experience of picking up an order from Haldiram’s at Ambience Mall in Gurugram. He had to take the stairs to the third floor after being directed to a different entrance. In his latest post, Goyal mentioned that Ambience Mall has already responded to the situation by creating a dedicated pickup point for all delivery partners. He thanked Arjun, the mall's owner, for the quick action. Goyal revealed that Ambience Mall has also agreed to let Zomato deploy “walkers” inside the mall. These walkers will help speed up the food delivery process by quickly moving orders from restaurants to the pickup points for delivery partners. Goyal urged other mall owners to consider similar solutions that benefit everyone involved, including customers, restaurants, delivery partners, and the malls themselves. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Denied Entrance to Ambience Mall in Gurugram To Pick Up an Order, Forced To Take the Stairs (Watch Video).
