Elon Musk's X announced that users would soon be able to gift their premium subscription to other non-premium subscribers. The X has shared more details about this new feature and how it would work. X premium gifting would allow the users to gift their "Premium" or "Premium+" subscription (annual subscription only) to the users. The recipient of the X Premium Subscription must be a non-premium user. The recipient would get immediate notification upon payment completion, and a blue checkmark would be added after the safety and security review. The X Premium Gifting process is simple; users need to go to the non-premium account's profile, tap on the gift icon, select Premium or Premium+ and then click or tap the "Gift & Pay" button.
