WhatsApp recently rolled out "passkeys" for iOS users, offering them a more secure way to log in with built-in authentication methods such as Face ID, passcode, or Touch ID. Using WhatsApp passkeys is more secure as they confirm the user's identity. Meta-owned WhatsApp said it "lets us know it's really you". The new WhatsApp feature would allow users to log back into the platform without needing any SMS code.
