United Airlines has signed a deal with SpaceX to equip over 1,000 planes with Starlink internet, offering free and reliable Wi-Fi to passengers. The service will be tested in early 2025 and fully rolled out later that year.

United Airlines reportedly announced a deal for SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service. As a part of this deal, the airline major will equip more than 1,000 plans with Starlink internet services and become the largest provider of high-speed internet services on planes. United Airlines does not plan to charge any additional cost to passengers using the Wi-Fi services of Elon Musk's Starlink. Instead, it will allow them to use it on the seatback screens and personal devices.
