The US House Committee on Oversight and Accountability said that it was investigating the decision taken by FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to revoke SpaceX Starlink's USD 885.5 million Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) subsidy for rural broadband connection. US FCC said that the decision to deny funds to Elon Musk's Starlink satellite internet company was based on the company's failure to meet the basic program and required performance. The commission said SpaceX's Starlink was not able to demonstrate that it could deliver the promised services. Committee Chair James Comer asked the USD FCC to turn over documents by October 21 related to the decision.
