The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said two astronauts - Sunita Williams and Barry Wilmore - stuck on the ISS will return to Earth in February next year. NASA has announced that it is too risky to bring two astronauts back to Earth in Boeing’s new capsule, following a series of technical issues. The astronauts, initially scheduled for a weeklong test flight, will now remain at the International Space Station (ISS) for over eight months, with their return planned for next year via SpaceX. The astronauts have been at the ISS since early June. Their mission was disrupted by multiple thruster failures and helium leaks in the Boeing capsule, leading to extensive testing and deliberation by engineers on the safest course of action for their return.
