Mars' moons are among the smallest in the solar system. Recently, NASA captured a magnificent 40 seconds footage of Mars' moon, Phobos crossing the face of the Sun. The video was captured with Perseverance’s next-generation Mastcam-Z camera on April 2.
NASA’s Perseverance Mars rover has captured stunning video of Phobos, which is the potato-shaped moon of the red planet. The footage captured with the next-generation Mastcam-Z camera on April 2 shows Phobos crossing the face of the Sun. According to reports, the Mars eclipse lasted a little over 40 seconds which is much lesser than a typical solar eclipse involving Earth’s Moon.
