NASA recently shared an image of NGC 653 which is located in an empty patch of space called the 'Local Void'. NGC 6503 is 18 million light-years away from Earth in the northern constellation of Draco. "The Local Void stretches about 150 million light-years across and seems to be completely empty of stars and galaxies. @NASAHubble discovered that the Milky Way is being strongly pulled away from it by the relentless tug of nearby galaxies. NGC 6503 lies at the edge of this void [sic]," NASA wrote while sharing the image of NGC 6503. Space-Time Visual Phenomenon: NASA's Hubble Space Telescope Captures Fascinating Space-Time Visual Phenomenon Known as Einstein Ring (Check Video).
