The Total Lunar Eclipse 2022 will occur on Tuesday, 8 November. Also known as Chandra Grahan, the cosmic event occurs when the Sun, Earth and Moon align in a straight line, and the Earth's shadow falls on the Moon. This will be the last total lunar eclipse for three years. The American space agency NASA has shared a captivating composite photo on Instagram displaying all the different stages of the Moon during an eclipse. The observance is named "Blood Moon" because the only sunlight reaching the Moon passes through Earth's atmosphere.
