Chandrayaan 3: Vikram Lander Makes Soft-Landing on Moon Again, Exceeds Its Mission Objectives; ISRO Shares Video
The agency has been conducting a series of experiments via the Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover since the Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft landed on the south pole of moon on August 23.
The Vikram Lander was commanded by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to fire its engines once more, lifting itself by around 40 cm, allowing it to land safely at a distance of 30 to 40 cm, the Indian space agency reported on Monday. All systems performed nominally and are healthy.
