Chandrayaan 3 Vikram Lander Module successfully made a soft landing on the South Pole of the moon on Wednesday, making India the first country in the world to reach the south polar region of the lunar surface. The Chandrayaan 3's Vikram Lander Module released the Pragyan rover on Moon at scheduled 6:04 pm. Launched on July 14, Chandrayaan 3 took nearly 40 days to reach the lunar surface. The Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-up mission to Chandrayaan-2 that crashed before the moon landing back in 2019.
