State Bank of India (SBI) issued an important warning for its customers on November 9, 2024, urging them to be cautious of fraudsters. The warning came after reports that scammers are sending fake messages via SMS and WhatsApp. These fake messages claim that customers can get a chance to claim reward points or encourage them to download a .apk file to redeem rewards. SBI clarified that the bank never sends messages containing links to download files or claim reward points. SBI customers are advised not to click on any suspicious links or download any files, as these could lead to fraud or security risks. LIC’s New Business Premiums Surge by 22.5% to INR 1.33 Lakh Crore in Current Fiscal Year.
