Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, who questioned the need for a "$" sign on Indian products instead of a "₹" sign, has replied to the netizens who explained to him the use of the dollar sign for coding. He said, "Looks like the keyboard is a real interest for many!" and explained that every country used their own currency symbol on their keyboards. He said, "Many have custom keyboards based on their language... Except India". He explained that the Indian rupee symbol "₹" was used by only a few manufacturers and advised all should do it.
