Meta announced a new Facebook Content Monetisation beta, integrating ads and bonuses to boost creators' earnings across various content formats.
Meta shared a post on October 2, 2024, announcing the rollout of Facebook Content Monetisation beta. The new program is set to offer new opportunities for creators to earn more on the platform. The update merges In-stream ads, Ads on Reels, and the Performance Bonus into one simple monetisation program. Meta is expected to help creators earn from various content formats, including Reels, longer videos, photos, and even text posts. Starting with one million invited creators, Meta has begun sending invitations to those already monetising their content on Facebook to join the Beta program. These creators can join the beta through the monetisation tab on the Professional dashboard through mobile or the Meta Business Suite on desktop. Although open enrollment will not be available until 2025, creators who are interested in early access can express their interest and learn more about Content Monetisation at Facebook for Creators.
