MediaTek Dimensity 9400, a new chipset, is likely to be launched by the MediaTek company soon with an Arm X5 ultra-large core called 'BackHawk'. The latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will likely replace the current processor - MediaTek Dimensity 9300, featuring the Arm Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720 processors. The official announcement comes Digital Chat Station from a Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The official post read, "MediaTek and ARM are working together. The Dimensity 9400 uses ARM's latest CPU architecture, codenamed BlackHawk, and the internal testing process is good". The post also said that the higher IPC of any chip architecture usually would deliver stronger performance at the same frequency. According to reports, the IPC (Instructions Per Clock) of MediaTek D9400 will be higher than Apple A17 Pro and Qualcomm Nuvia.
