India is gearing up to host the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA 2024) from October 15 to 24, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) announced on September 30, 2024. The event will bring together global leaders in telecommunications. The AI Bharat 5G/6G Hackathon will start from October 7 till October 8, which will offer participants a chance to win up to USD 1,000 for building AI models for the future of telecom. The Global Standards Symposium will begin on October 14 to explore AI governance, while the “Robotics for Youth” event is scheduled on October 17. Asia's largest tech forum will begin from October 15-18,  and will feature over 1.5 lakh attendees, 700 startups, and 900 tech demos. On October 23, India’s top researchers will join global innovators at "Innovation Xchange" to collaborate on future technologies like AI and Quantum Communications.
