‘I Literally Cried’: Customer Alleges Blinkit of Delivering Wrong Gold Coin on Dhanteras

Blinkit’s Dhanteras service reportedly disappointed its customer after receiving the wrong item and faced an issue while returning the item.

Blinkit started delivery of gold and silver coins in 10 minutes on Dhanteras 2024. However, Mohit Jain (@MohitJa30046159) shared his experience on October 29, 2024, after an incident with Blinkit. Jain explained that he ordered a 1 gm Mata Lakshmi gold coin and a 1 gm silver coin on Blinkit, paying for both in advance. Since Jain was not at home during delivery, he gave the OTP to his younger brother to receive the order. But on arrival, Jain reportedly discovered a different item, which was a 0.5 gm Malabar gold coin in a rose design. He attempted to return it but reportedly failed. He mentioned that after 20 minutes, the return window was closed. He made a call to the delivery person and said, “I literally cried while talking to him.” Jain said the delivery person had proof of the delivered item, but he was not able to help him. The customer has also shared the invoices in the post.
