Groww Investigates Claims of Investor Over Mutual Fund Investment Fraud, Clarifies That User Did Not Invest and No Money Was Debited From Bank Account
Online trading platform Groww provided information about Mutual Investment redemption fraud reported by a user. The company said that the user did not invest any money and no such money was deducted from the bank account.
Groww has come out and clarified the claims by of a customer about not being able to redeem a Mutual Fund Investment on the platform on June 19, 2024. Recently, a customer named 'Hanendra Pratap Singh' raised an issue about being unable to redeem her investment in a mutual fund even after Groww generated her folio. According to a report, she learned that her folio number did not exist, and all the details were removed. Groww clarified on X about this issue. The company said her account showed an incorrect investment due to a recon issue. The company said that no investment was made from her account, and no money was debited.
