Google has announced the investment of USD 1 billion in Iowa into Council Bluffs data centres. This Google investment aims to expand the technical infrastructure. Google CEO Sundar Pichai posted on X that the company had invested about USD 5.5 billion in the state since 2007. Through this announcement, Google pledged to bring expansion into the data centre in addition to USD 1.3 billion to water preservation and conservation efforts in the Missouri River Valley. According to a report, Joe Kava, VP of Google's data centres, appreciated Iowa's welcoming business environment and its people.
