Elon Musk said it was deeply wrong, reacting to the news of Sam Altman getting 7% stake in OpenAI and CTO Mira Murati resigning from post of CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
Elon Musk reacted to the OpenAI CEO Sam Altman getting a 7% stake as the Microsoft-backed AI company turned "for profit" from "non profit". The company was non-profit, began as open-source for all, and is now restructuring. SpaceX and Tesla CEO said, "This is deeply wrong", to Sam Altman getting a stake and Mira Murathi resigning amid a leadership reshuffle. This would be the first time Altman will gain ownership of OpenAI. Elon Musk had previously claimed that he named the company "OpenAI" as it was open-source back then, The tech billionaire had also filed a lawsuit against the company alleging "deceit of Shakespearean proportions".
