BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A. Robert Jerard Ravi reportedly said that the government-run telecom company would not raise its tariffs in the near future. BSNL recently shared a report by Financial Express mentioning a statement by the Chairman and MD, who said that instead of raising tariffs, the telecommunication company would focus on improving the quality of its services to retain subscribers. Robert Ravi stated this as BSNL started rolling out its 4G services across India, offering better network coverage and faster internet speeds. Government-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited reportedly gained 2.9 million subscribers in July after private telecom companies raised tariffs by 10% to 27% on different plans. As of July, BSNL had around 88.5 million subscribers, with a 7.6% market share. TRAI Warns About Fraudulent Messages and Calls, Advises To Stay Safe and Report Suspicious Activity.
