Last month, TRAI mandated telecom service providers to curb the rising problem of spam calls, including pre-recorded and computer-generated from Unregistered Senders or Telemarketers (UTMs) using SIP, PRI or other telecom sources. Following this, Airtel launched its AI spam detection tech this week.
