Binance founder Changpeng Zhao aka CZ will be released today after he served 119 days in prison. Binance spokesperson said that the CEO would reunite with the family and pursue other goals as he could not manage the crypto exchange.

Binance Founder Changpeng Zhao is set to be released after serving 119 days in prison. Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, was expected to be released on Sunday, September 29, 2024. However, he is said to be released on Friday (today). The Binance founder pleaded guilty to violating the Bank Secrecy Act in April this year. He also reportedly failed to set up an adequate KYC program at Binance. Regarding the two days prior release, a Binance spokesperson said that the crypto exchange members were happy to see Changpeng Zhao reunite with his family.
