Apple is said to be falling behind the tech giants like Microsoft, OpenAI and Meta in artificial intelligence. However, Apple has been silent on its AI strategy for its upcoming products. Recently, a report said that Apple was nearing to close a deal with OpenAI, likely to bring ChatGPT to its iPhones and other devices. The Apple WWDC 2024 event set in June is expected to be all-about AI. According to  Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's AI strategy includes three aspects: on-device LLM (in-house), cloud-powered LLM (in-house), and chatbot. Mark Gurman said Apple could surely go for OpenAI or likely for Gemini AI. He added, "Apple isn't building its own chatbot but knows the market wants it so it's going elsewhere for it.
