Google's Android rolled out the second beta of Android 15 with several improvements. The Android 15 Beta 2 include productivity improvement, performance maximisation, and battery impact minimisation. The Android 15 Beta 2 features include improvements in private spaces, improvement in managing media permission, more efficient software decoder for AV1, smoother transitions, richer widget previews and Predictive back to show the results of any actions, according to the report by GSMArena. It further said that the apps would highlight the recently selected photos and videos after receiving partial access to media permissions. Also, the update protects the users from malicious background apps, stopping other apps from opening in the foreground and abusing user interactions. The report said that Android 15 Beta 2 also improved multitasking, letting the users pin the taskbar on the device's screen and seamlessly switch between apps. For quick access, the second beta of Android 15 also improved split-screen app combinations.
