Yogesh Kathuniya has won the silver medal in the Men's Discus Throw F56 event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. The 27-year-old pulled off a 42.22m throw, which came in his first attempt, to secure a podium finish. It was a season's best effort for Kathuniya. This was India's eighth medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024 and fourth from the para-athletics contingent, with Nishad Kumar and Preeti Pal being the other winners. Yogesh Kathuniya had won the silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics as well. This was also India's third silver medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
