Nyeman Wangsu, Onilu Tega and Mepung Lamgu are the three Wushu players from India who were denied visa by the Chinese government and their participation hopes in the continental competition was all but over. One of them got accreditation and two were waiting for the same. However, the rest of the team, consisting seven players were allowed to participate in the games while the three were not allowed to board the plane. Upon return they received a grand welcome at the Naharlagun railway station in Arunachal Pradesh.
