The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has further delayed the verdict for Wrestler Vinesh Phogat's request to be awarded joint-silver medal. Earlier, Vinesh appealed to them that she should be awarded the joint-silver medal for reaching the final ahead of getting disqualified due to failed Weigh-in. CAS registered the appeal, went through the hearing and was supposed to give the verdict on August 10. But they have now postponed it further and will now announce the verdict on August 13 (Tuesday) at 6 PM CEST (9:30 PM Indian Standard Time). CAS has given all the parties time till August 11 to submit any additional documents.
