Novak Djokovic suffered a shock loss to Tomas Machac in the men's singles semifinal of the Geneva Open 2024 on Friday, May 24. The Serbian tennis star was the favourite to get to the final but lost the first set 4-6. Djokovic, however, marked his presence in this contest by winning the second set 6-0. Machac, however, did not give up and kept fighting before beating Djokovic in the last six games to win the third set 6-1. With this win, Machac entered his first-ever ATP Final at the expense of the world no 1.
