Novak Djokovic Opens Up on Testing COVID-19 Positive in December, Writes, ‘It Is Always an Honour To Compete in Australian Open’ (Read Full Statement)
The Serbian tennis star had earlier stated that he has been given a medical exemption to compete in the Australian Open despite being unvaccinated against COVID-19. He was seen returning to practice ahead of the Australian Open which starts on January 17. Djokovic also admitted to having an interview with a journalist despite testing positive for COVID-19.
Novak Djokovic has opened up on reports of him testing positive for COVID-19 in December and also has thrown light about his issue with the Australian government with regard to his travel declaration. In a series of Instagram posts, the Serbian tennis star explained the chain of events and also wrote that he would not be commenting any further on this issue.
