World Number 1 Iga Swiatek wins the French Open 2024 Women’s singles title with a win over 26-year-old Jasmine Paolini. Playing in her first major final the Italian struggled against Swiatek who now has four consecutive wins in straight sets in the competition. Paolini managed just one break in the match while Swiatek won five break points en route to her fourth French Open win. The scoreline reads 6-2, 6-1 in favour of Iga Swiatek. With the title win the Polish star completed a treble at the Roland Garros and became only the second Female Athlete to do so after Justin Henin (2005-2007).
