US international Lauren Davis opted out of Australian Open 2024 with shoulder injury. The exit of Davis, which followed withdrawals by Karolina Muchova, Petra Kvitova, Irina-Camelia Begu and Caty McNally, opened up a spot for Emma Raducanu in the main draw of the Australian Open 2024. The 21-year old British Tennis star was out of action for eight months following wrist injury. She is currently playing in Auckland in ASB Classic tournament.
