Sumit Antil and Bhagyashri Jadhav led the Indian contingent at the Paris Paralympics 2024 opening ceremony on August 29. Antil, who had shattered the world record en route to winning gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, waved the Indian flag high and led out the nation's delegation alongside Jadhav, who had won silver medals at the Asia Para Games in 2022 and World Para Athletics Championships in 2024.
