Sreeja Akula suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the pre-quarterfinals of the women's table tennis event at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Thursday, August 31. The 26-year-old put up a spirited show against the Chinese paddler, gaining an advantage in the first two games. But she failed to stop her opposition from making comebacks in both those games.
