Sika Anoa’i Dies: Roman Reigns’ Father, One Half of 'The Wild Samoans' Tag Team and WWE Hall of Famer Passes Away at 79

The legendary wrestler was part of the 'The Wild Samoans' tag team alongside brother Afa and the duo dictated proceedings in the early 1980s. Roman Reigns, his son shared a heartfelt note on social media after his father's death.

Roman Reigns' father Sika Anoa'i, a WWE Hall of Famer has passed away at the age of 79 on June 25. Sika was part of a very popular tag team in WWE history--' The Wild Samoans' alongside brother Arthur 'Afa' Anoa’i. Sika and Afa won the Tag Team championships three times. Sika made an appearance on WWE television when he presented Reigns with the 'Ula Fala' necklace at WWE Hell in a Cell in 2020. Reigns also wrote a heartfelt message on 'X', formerly Twitter, after Sika's death. "My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us.
