India achieved its first gold medal in this year's Asian Games when the trio of Aishwary Tomar Pratap, Rudrankksh Patil and Divyansh Panwar bagged the top prize on offer in the men's 10m air rifle event on Monday, September 25. The trio also achieved a world record score as well in the process, scoring 1893.3 points. Korea and China won the silver and bronze medals in this event. The three were then awarded the gold medals as they sang the national anthem on the podium with the national flag being raised. Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally Updated.
