Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alexander Zverev in a five-set classic match at Roland Garros to win his maiden French Open title. Aged 21 and 36 days, Alcaraz broke Rafael Nadal’s record of becoming the youngest amae athlete to win the French Open title. Also, the Spaniard became the youngest male athlete to win the Gand slam on all three surfaces. He won the Wimbledon trophy in 2023 while conquering the US Open title in 2022. He again went ahead of his fellow countryman – Rafael Nadal who achieved this feat at the age of 22 years and seven months.
