R Praggnanandhaa had a time to remember at the FIDE Chess World Cup 2023 where he finished as the runners-up, after losing the final to Magnus Carlsen in the tie-breaker. The Indian chess prodigy was one of the most impressive performers of the tournament and played two draws in the classical games. He eventually lost the contest in the tie-breaker to the Norwegian world number one.
