PV Sindhu Wins Bronze in Women’s Singles Badminton at Tokyo Olympics 2020, Becomes First Indian Woman To Win Two Olympic Medals

Sindhu, who had been in good form all throughout her Tokyo Olympics 2020, lost to Tai Tzu-Ying in the semi-finals on Saturday, July 31. However, her bronze medal win means that India won its second medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after Mirabai Chanu's silver in weightlifting.

PV Sindhu on Sunday, August 1, became the first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals as she defeated China's He Bingjiao in straight games to win bronze at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
