PV Sindhu to Have a Shot at Bronze Medal After Failing to Qualify for Final of Badminton Women’s Singles at Tokyo Olympics 2020

Sindhu, who has been in good form in the Olympics this year, was defeated 18-21, 12-21 by her opponent from Chinese Taipei. She, however, remains in contention for a bronze medal, the match for which is tomorrow.

Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu lost her women's singles semi-final at the Tokyo Olympics 20202 to Chinese Tai Tzu-Ying 18-21, 12-21. She is still in contention for a bronze medal, with the match being played tomorrow against China's He Bingjiao.
