Former Indian track and field athlete PT Usha has taken oath as an honourary member of the Indian Parliament at Rajya Sabha today, July 20. The national athletics legend, who won Padma Shri and Arjuna Award, was nominated by the central government for the Upper House. Usha had won state election in Kerala. Earlier, Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh also took a place at Rajya Sabha from Punjab Constituency.
