Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his best wishes to the duo of Thulasimathi Murugesan and Manisha Ramadass who won silver and bronze medals respectively at the Paris Paralympics 2024. While Murugesan had assured herself of atleast a silver and bagged it, despite losing the women's singles final to China's Yang Qiu Xia. Manisha Ramadass on the other hand, dished out a dominant show, beating Denmark's Cathrine Rosengren 21-12, 21-8 to bag the bronze. Murugesan and Ramadass became the first Indian women to win para-badminton medals at the Paralympic Games.
