As the Paris Olympics 2024 came to and end on August 11, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a post lauding the efforts of the Indian athletes over the length of the games. India's effort at the Paris Olympics 2024 was rather heartbreaking as they had six 4th places and twice defeat when a win could have ensured a medal. Vinesh Phogat was denied an ensured medal due to disqualification and that means what could have been a record 15 medal campaign ended with only six. Yet, PM Modi acknowledged their efforts and wished them the best. PM Narendra Modi Lauds Efforts of Indian Athletes
As the Paris #Olympics conclude, I appreciate the efforts of the entire Indian contingent through the games. All the athletes have given their best and every Indian is proud of them. Wishing our sporting heroes the best for their upcoming endeavours.
