Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale made the country proud by clinching a bronze medal in the men's 50m air rifle three positions event at the Paris Olympics 2024. This was India's first-ever medal in the category and third at the Paris Olympic Games 2024 as well. While Swapnil brought laurels to the country, he received wishes from many top celebrities and politicians. A pic of Swapnil's back tattoo which consists of lord Shiva 'trishool' is going viral on social media. Swapnil’s coach Manoj Kumar revealed that before heading to Paris for Olympics, the star shooter visited Mahakal in Ujjain. “We had a camp in Bhopal, and I asked, ‘Swapnil, Mahakal?’ He replied, ‘Yes, chalo chalte hain [Yes, we’ll go].’ So, we went together to Ujjain and had the blessings of Mahakal. He’s also very patriotic, with ‘Bharat’ proudly inscribed on his gun,” Manoj was quoted as saying by Revsportz.
