In the 33rd edition of the Olympic Games, the same number of male and female participants will represent their respective 206 nations in various sports. A total of 10,500 athletes will compete in 32 sports and 329 events, which means 5,250 male and 5,250 female athletes will compete in the 33rd edition of the Summer Olympics.
