The Olympic Torch Relay began on July 14 with former Arsenal and France international Thierry Henry carrying the Olympic Flame through Paris. Arsenal’s former coach Arsene Wenger ignited the Caudron in his home town few days ago.

July 14 marks the first day of the 2024 Paris Olympic Torch Relay in the French capital. It was a highly symbolic 57th stop on the course of the Relay as it fell on Bastille Day, the National Day of France. Former Arsenal and French striker Thierry Henry began the relay as he carried the torch through the city before handing it over to the Country’s other iconic athlete, Romane Dicko. Henry is the current coach of the U23 French football team for the Paris Olympics 2024.
