Indian para-archer Harvinder Singh brought laurels to the country as he won a gold medal in the Men's Individual Recurve category by defeating Poland's Lukasz Ciszek by 6-0. This was India's fifth gold medal at the Paris Paralympics 2024. During the medal ceremony, 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' chants were heard from the crowd and the Indian national anthem was played as well. During the same, Harvinder was also seen joining the fans and completing the 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' chant with 'Jai'.
