Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem turned heads with a massive throw of 92.97m in the men's javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics 2024. The 27-year-old did not have a great start as he fouled on his first attempt but came up with his sensational throw in his second attempt. As the javelin flew past the 90m mark and landed, Nadeem buried his face in his hands, unable to believe what had just transpired. Nadeem broke the record, which was held by Norway's Andreas Thordkilsen, who had come up with a 90.57m effort in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
