Roller skater Jung Cheol-Won from South Korea was left in shambles on Monday at the Asian Games 2023 when his early celebration cost his team a gold medal in the 3,000-meter relay race. As he neared the finish line, the 27-year-old South Korean eased up and lifted his arms, but Huang Yu-Lin of Taiwan stretched his legs and beat him to the line as Taiwan took first place by 0.01 seconds. Taiwan won the gold medal with a time of 4:05.692, which meant that the margin between South Korea and Taiwan was a negligible 0.01 seconds. South Korea crossed the finish line in second position with a timing of 4:05.702. Asian Games 2023 Medal Tally Latest Updated: India Occupy 4th Position With 21 Gold Medals, People's Republic of China Lead Asiad Medal Table So Far
