Nigerian sprinter Favour Ofili was left frustrated and gutted after she was told she would not take part in the Women's 100m event at the Paris Olympics 2024. Ofili, in a social media post, shed light on the fact that she was informed of this development despite qualifying for the event. She hit out at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) for failing to enter her name. Olifi was slated to compete in the 100m, 200m and Women's 4x400m relay events but now, will compete in just the last two. "I have worked for 4 years to earn this opportunity.
